Erem Maryi "Brama Nieba" od strony wschodniej (1)

 

"Potem wszedł na górę i przywołał do siebie tych, ktorych sam chciał, a oni przyszli do Niego"     (Mk 3, 13)

Erem jest przestrzenią, która nieustannie przypomina, że najgłębszym powołaniem człowieka jest być z Bogiem i ufnie odpowiadać na każde Jego zaproszenie. Eremita, w poczuciu swej nędzy, ma trwać przed Panem i gorliwie wypraszać potrzebne łaski.

Erem znajduje się na lekkim wzniesieniu. Położenie to pokornie przypomina  o różnorodnych scenach biblijnych, które dokonywały się w klimacie "góry". 

 Po grzechu pierworodnym, istnieje niestety w życiu człowieka tendencja "równi pochyłej". Dzięki łasce, otrzymujemy moc, aby wciąż na nowo wyruszać "ku górze".

The Hermitage is a space which constantly reminds us that the deepest vocation of a man is to be with God and to accept trustfully each of His invitations. The hermit, aware of being poor and needy, is to stay in front of the Lord and eagerly pray for His blessings.  

The Hermitage is situated on a low hill, which humbly reminds us of various Biblical scenes set in the atmosphere of “a mountain”.

Unfortunately, after the original sin, a man tends to go down “a slippery slope”. Thanks to the grace, we receive strength to start “heading for the summit” again and again.
